PERSONAL FITNESS PROGRAM
As a member of the Hobart Family YMCA, you are entitled to a FREE 12-week program (within 90 days of new membership) with one of our trained fitness staff. This personal fitness program includes:
Instruction on the use of all cardio and fitness machines in the fitness center.
4 progress meetings, with fitness staff. Tracking of weight, body fat and body measurements. A personalized workout schedule based on your own goals and abilities. For more information or to sign up for an introductory meeting please contact a member of the fitness staff.
ADULT SHOW MACHINE ORIENTATION
Cost: FREE for members only by appointment with fitness staff. This hour-long orientation is required for new members and recommended for anyone with questions regarding exercise equipment in the fitness center. Completion of Par-Q & You Questionnaire Form is required. Proper use of all cardio and Cybex strengthening equipment is shown along with a discussion on exercise tracking optional.
IMPORTANT YOUTH FITNESS CENTER INFORMATION
Children who are under the age of 10 years old are not allowed in the fitness center.
Parent or guardian must accompany 10-13 Year olds.
You must be 16 years or older to use the free weight area and medicine balls. Please note: All members are to wear proper fitness attire as described in our member handbook.
YOUTH SHOW MACHINE ORIENTATION
(YSMO) FREE-members only (Ages 10 - 16)
By appointment with fitness staff this hour long orientation for youth, ages 10 - 16, is required in order to use the fitness center. Completion of Par-Q You Questionnaire and Parental Consent is necessary. Upon completion, the YMCA member card will be updated to allow admittance to the fitness center. Proper use of all cardio and Cybex strengthening equipment will be shown in addition to a discussion on exercise tracking (optional), stretching, warming up, cooling down and target heart rate.
PERSONAL TRAINING
By Appointment with Fitness Trainer Cost: $100.00 for 5 - One-Hour Sessions $100.00 for 10 - Half Hour Sessions Reach your goal and obtain the physique you have always desired with a certified personal trainer. This strength training and cardiovascular program will be designed specifically for you. Our certified personal trainer focuses on increasing lean mass, strengthening and developing muscle mass. Goals are losing fat mass and increasing total fitness

Blood pressure screening, conducted by fitness personal. BODY COMPOSITION ...by appointment with fitness staff. A quick and easy test to assess body fat percentage! Each 30-minute appointment is private and includes height, weight, body fat measurement, and a short consultation.
