Do you have a favorite craft project at home that you have not yet completed, but would really like to?  Bring it to the Y on Tuesday mornings and join in the fun and fellowship with others working on craft projects.  Learn to create jewelry, crochet, knit, quilt, begin a scrapbook, cardmaking, or journaling, paint a picture or figurine, or just complete a craft project that you’ve started.

At different times throughout the year, we will be offering special "learn to make projects" such as a No Sew free-standing Santa Claus, jewelry, china painting, etc. There will be a cost for these projects. Please check the Older Adult Bulletin Board and the program table in the welcome center.

OLDER ADULT ADVISORY MEETINGS

4 Thursdays throughout the year; 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Twelve older adults have volunteered to be a part of this group. We will be brainstorming, discussing and sharing ideas that interest older adults. If you would be interested in joining us as we collaborate our ideas contact Jennifer Bauman, Older Adult Coordinator or Sharon Tarry at 942-2183.

The Y is committed to providing programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We make every effort to ensure that no one is turned away due to inability to pay. Click to read more about our financial assistance.
